The Shimano XT M8100 1x12v cranksets are rigid, they ensure pedaling efficiency, while their lightweight, a key element of the crankset, allows the cyclist to improve their performance over longer distances. HOLLOWTECH technology is an ultra-light hollow crank arm created by Shimano, with the company's own forging technology that also allows to maintain stiffness. The addition of HOLLOWTECH II technology integrates the bottom bracket with the right crank arm to achieve greater stiffness and save weight, thus obtaining a high dimensional balance.
