The SpeedGRIP compound is a rubber formula specific to gravel born from Pirelli's experience in the World Rally Championship, where speed and grip on and off the road are crucial. This chemical formulation is based on the polymer matrix of the SmartGRIP compound specific for MTB while reducing its rolling resistance. The application of gravel requires good speed and capabilities on and off the road, for this reason, our engineers adjusted the characteristics of the compound to achieve better energy efficiency with a small compromise on grip, the result is a predictable compound with solid performance on and off the road.
