The REAR DERAILLEUR SHIMANO ULTEGRA GS RD-R8000 has been designed to reduce shifting effort at the lever, while being safe, fast, and precise. Thanks to the integrated Shadow RD technology, with its race-proven low-profile design, the derailleur is more compact and fits closer to the frame, ensuring less damage in case of collision. The R8000 has many of the features of the R9100 derailleur. The R8000 rear derailleur has fully incorporated the Dura Ace Shadow design, full protection under the cassette.
