The Selle Italia X Green Superflow saddle is the first saddle created through the new eco-sustainable Green-Tech manufacturing process conceived and fully developed in Italy. Since its foundation, Selle Italia has invested in research and development because it is convinced that only through innovation can it grow, and last summer it implemented Green-Tech: a production process that allows for low impact on the environment, eco-sustainable, fast production and at competitive costs. It is an automated facility, fully developed in Italy and unique in the world, that allows for high quality saddles to be produced without the need for adhesives and polyurethane, substances notoriously with a strong environmental impact.

The first saddle, made through a production process represents an absolute novelty because it assembles three components mechanically and without using polluting adhesive substances. In fact, for the production of the saddle, Flex Control technology has been used, that is, a special frame made up of two elements of different flexibility capable of guaranteeing superior comfort and greater resistance compared to products in the same market sector. The third component is the rail in Fec Alloy, a high strength and flexibility steel-iron-carbon alloy.

Among the technical features of the Model X Green Superflow saddle, the Total Gel padding (with integrated antibacterial treatment) stands out, which completely covers the surface of the saddle structure and the waved shape, that is, wavy, which makes this saddle suitable for cyclists who prefer to maintain a more stable position on the saddle even on long journeys. In addition, following the idmatch system and precisely thanks to its waved shape, this saddle is especially indicated for those who have pelvic retroversion.

Completely Made in Italy, and the Treviso company believes that this element is very important, especially when considering the problems that arose during the last year in the cycling world's supply chain. In addition, with this latest creation from Selle Italia, the brand is increasingly closer to eco-sustainable production, in this way it is able to meet the needs of those who care about the environment but at the same time seek performance and comfort at a competitive price.

*Thanks to the Idmatch Smart Caliper technology, Selle Italia offers 6 size variants divided into two groups: S1, S2, S3 - L1, L2, L3.
Regarding sizes, the S saddles are all quite narrow, that is, with a seat point between 131 and 136 mm wide while the L range from 145 mm up to a maximum of 150 mm.

The number associated with the size (1, 2 or 3) identifies the presence or absence of the central cut (Flow technology): a special anatomical cut that allows to "unload" the seat point, guaranteeing excellent comfort through greater flexibility in the central part of the saddle.

The S1 and L1 models, suitable for cyclists without a large pelvic rotation, do not have the central cut and, therefore, do not need to lighten the pressure and friction created on the saddle.

The S2 or L2 saddles have a central cut of reduced dimensions and are suitable for cyclists with an average pelvic rotation who during pedalling produce pressure and friction: elements that together increase the temperature at the seat point and can create a critical and uncomfortable physical condition.

The third size - S3 or L3 - refers to saddles with a large central cut, recommended for cyclists with a high pelvic rotation, who create a lot of pressure and friction on the saddle surface.

With size 3, there are also saddles available with SuperFlow technology, that is with an even larger central cut, for cyclists who prefer a feeling of greater comfort.
