The MAXXIS REKON is a versatile tire, available in several sizes and compounds, which adapts to a wide variety of terrains and modalities.

Its open and aggressive tread gives it excellent grip and traction, and can be used as a front tire for XC in sizes 29 x 2.25 and even 29 x 2.40, as well as rear for All Mountain and Trail in the same sizes.

There is also the Plus version, ideal for Trail or as a rear for light Enduro. This size is available with EXO protection on the sides, and also with the new EXO+, which combines side protection with tread protection to make the tire more resistant, ideal for use on E-Bike. They are also available in DUAL, 3C Maxx Speed and 3C Maxx Terra compounds, with 60 or 120 tpi.

The Maxxis Rekon is a very voluminous tire that you can use on your daily commute, shredding in the forest and on AllMountain, but it can also take a detour on rough terrain. The TR version with EXO side protection is designed for tubeless riding with sealing liquid, but it can also be ridden with a tube like all TR tires.
