-Exo+ Protection: New puncture protection: SilkShield + EXO. The SilkShield layer extends from bead to bead with an EXO layer along the sidewalls. Combined, these two materials create EXO + which improves tread puncture protection by 27%; sidewall durability by 51%; and pinch flat resistance by 28%.

-3C Maxx Terra compound is an intermediate setup compound used in select mountain tires. It is softer and offers more traction than 3C Maxx Speed, while reducing tread wear and rolling resistance compared to Maxx Grip compound.

- WT (Wild Trail Construction): Optimizes the tread layout and tire profile on today's wider, modern rims. Traditional tires are designed with older, narrower rims and can create a too-square tire profile, leading to less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but have been proven to work on a range of inner rim widths from 30-35 mm, depending on rider preference

- EXO: An extremely cut and abrasion resistant material that is added to the sidewalls of select mountain tires. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. Ideal for exceptionally rocky and treacherous trails where the likelihood of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high

- SkinWall: Version of the tire sidewalls thinner, designed to minimize its weight

- Tubeless Ready: Combines a carbon fiber bead for strength, a bead cushion for safety, and a liquid sealant compatible rubber for air retention, eliminating the need for an inner tube. The puncture protection layer helps prevent damage caused by road debris. Liquid sealant can be used to prevent any loss of air pressure
